timb2117 Posted June 3, 2021 Posted June 3, 2021 Hi Eric not too sure IF it can be reset although there are some massively impressive posts on here from people like Revilla who seem to have cracked the Darwin code...I did just fit a beautiful upgraded ECU from Kmaps, google em easy to do and works better than original....
arun1uk Posted June 3, 2021 Posted June 3, 2021 From my understanding, you can't use a Kmap ECU on an EU2 without extensive wiring modifications, which doesn't leave many options.
john milner Posted June 3, 2021 Posted June 3, 2021 Could the question be is there something similar to pressing the immobiliser button a few times that works for EU3 ECUs?I don't think Kmaps/Revilla type tune-ups can be applied to EU2 ECUs and they are what they are.
eric Posted June 3, 2021 Author Posted June 3, 2021 I heard that it is possible to press the throttle pedal 5 times to do that but I don't know if it is with the ignition on or off ?
revilla Posted June 3, 2021 Posted June 3, 2021 All that is doing is calibrating the ECU to recognise the idle voltage from the throttle position sensor. Ignition on but don't start, press throttle smoothly to fully open and back to fully closed five times, then ignition off. After that you can turn the ignition back on and start.
