So time has come for me to sell my Caterham, starting my company, moving and covid means I can't have two anymore, this is without a doubt the best caterham I have driven, its a perfect balance of power to weight, loves to rev and I will generally be sad to see this go and probably buy it back in a few years time. The engine was sent off to be balanced as well so its smooth as butter. 

It just had an MOT, full service and new set of rears and a bunch of other things too at Boss Racing. I will also get them to flat floor it for the buyer so its perfectly set up for you straight away.
I have owned this for about 8 years and in its time it has had a lot of work done to it, to name a few engine upgrades, 13" wheels etc.

185bhp 1.8L K series (was a VVC so that was removed and throttle bodies added, forged pistions)

4-2-1 large bore primaries into a raceco silencer
Emerald K6 ECU.

MOT valid for just under a year.

Included in the sale is a carbon aero screen.

For an additional cost I can include a DD full cage for it.

Could clarify for me if it was made in 1989 and not registered until 1999? If so do you know why?

Have you got more photos, more details of more angles etc. 
 

Other forum members, do you know much about this car prior to AJ owning it? Anything that you'd want to know if you were considering it?

Sorry it was made and built in 1999.

 

The 1989 bit is my message tag line, my birth year 1989, hence the made in 1989 bit apologies for any confusion.
