SKC Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Morning All,Anyone out there reading this with a Sigma 140 Supersport, would you mind having a quick look at your fuel injectors for me please. If you look at the body of the injectors, they have a coloured plastic band round them, it's either blue of green. 125 Sigmas tend to have the green ones, 150s have a blue. I thiught the 140 also had the blue. Please can someone confirm.Engoy the weekend*byebye*RegardsSKC
ChrisC Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 I know 150 are Blue and 125 Green. I have the Ford part number for the Blue injectors somewhere because they where hard to identify, in the end they turned out to be the ethanol injectors for a 1.6 Sigma for reference SMPE FI1237 or Ford 1222359 2S4U-9F593-AB .But I might be trying to teach grandma how to suck eggs here
BigCol Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 green... well, a bluey sort of green but I'd say green! have emailed a photo so you can draw your own conclusions.
Tom_Arundel Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 Green injector for sigma supersport map, the blue injector will over inject by about 10% on standard plenum setup and produce less power. Green runs nearer to its performance limit than the blue but is OK for 150bhp/7400rpm. 150 map and intake is different from 140.
