wheel arch painting issue

Morning all,

I had an accident and lost my rear wheel arch in the process. I have 2 weeks to replace the arch, but ideally would like it painting properly (Ford Frozen White, non-metallic).

Caterham apparently have a backlog and I cant get one done in time before a big trip (NW Highlands, lots of cars, photos taken etc.). Ideally I don't want one black unpainted arch and three white ones.

If I get hold of an unpainted arch, where is the best place to take it for a top paint job, and where chances are they could fit the job in fast?

Im in the East Midlands and would prefer local, but at this late stage I'd take a good place anywhere in England.

CJ Tallis in Hinckley - just off the A5 near Trinity Marina.

He used to spray the Caterhams for Classic Carriage before Caterham Midlands was formed. My seven was painted there.

Done two tintop jobs for me and been pleased with both.

Carizma in Melton Mowbray are a specialist GRP repairer and do good paint repairs. They have some distinction such as being the only body shop approved by TVR or something. Speak to Thomas Freeman. You already know the place ... you took my Dad's Cobra there on the back of your trailer!

thanks both. After calling around and getting quotes this morning, out of the blue BookaTrack came back to me and said that they have it in hand.

So its a storm in a tea cup from me, and all is back under conrtol.

Glad it's in hand and sorry to see the damage that was done. What is happening as far as repairs to the side skin is concerned?
