Kumho V70A tyres - part worn or new

New or part worn but legal 235/45/13 Kumho V70A Ecstas soft compound (K20/21) to replace my knackered rears which are down to barely legal!

Would consider mixed size set of four if price right.

Can collect or arrange carriage if required.

K60/K61 is the medium compound. Kumho have some in manufacture now and should be here in about 6-8 weeks.

I'm waiting for that size/compound too. I can't go racing until I can get some :-(

Hi Shaun

I'm really after some part worn tyres as I don't particularly want to fork out for brand new and I'm not that keen on having new on the back and quite old part worn on the front.

I think mine are K21 but I can't find the old invoice from Mel Williams.  Would that make them soft?  I can't see anything on the tyre wall that might indicate the compound other than 'Traction AA'.

I'm only doing the occasional hill climb in France these days where List 1B/1C doesn't apply.  I could run at Etretat at the end of August on the existing tyres but I doubt it would pass the MoT with what's on there so I can't road test it before the event.

I'm hoping that someone who has had to switch from these to a legal 1B tyre might have a pair in their garage.

K21 is "soft". Most of the Kumho users stuck with them so unlikely to find any but you never know your luck.
