Tazio Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Roger,There's nothing in the original build manual, so sorry..
Jonathan Kay Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 No idea, but NGK say BCPR7E and that's confirmed by a couple of other vendors: 1, 2.Searching for BCPR7E in the archives only gives posts about K series.Jonathan

Area Representative Piers300 Posted May 15, 2016 Area Representative Posted May 15, 2016 Roger one other thing is that you will recall his is 235 Bhp
TANGO7 Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 WRT Tony Weale Book - not sure what Edition it is but Publication Date is 1991 and the info on plugs is on page 217.
Area Representative Piers300 Posted May 15, 2016 Area Representative Posted May 15, 2016 RogerTony Weale's book on page 217 says Champion C6 3YC, but this is for the 175 bhp engine. Piers
Lotus Boy Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Another here who fitted NGK BCPR7ES.What came out interestingly were GM branded ones FLR8L, think Hyperion put them in about seven years ago. Found one identical set on eBay but decided to go with the lower cold rated and seemingly more recommended NGKs.Car is running well on the NGKs.CheersDavid
TANGO7 Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Hi All,So do we not assume the 175bhp is not the "Standard" engine on carbs??
Lotus Boy Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Yes 175bhp is the standard output for carbs. 165bhp for injection.
