Oil pressure sender unit pre1998

I need an oil pressure sender unit. Purchased one a few weeks ago, but just tried to fit it and it is the larger thread size.  I need the smaller one. Anybody help?

If you can't find the right one you could make or get a braided hose with the right fitting on each end. There was a discussion of something similar recently. It might even reduce the vibration suffered by the sender.

I had the same issue a few months ago. I spoke with Car Builder Solutions 01580891309 and they made up a brass adapter, with M 10 mm x 1 MALE and M 12 mm x 1.5 FEMALE  by modifying a stock item. They have a lathe at the back of their shop.The complete unit is 32 mm in length.

All in with postage £13.20
