Tillett Seats and Superlight 20 seats

Does anybody know if the Tillett B6 and the Superlight 20/620R seats are basically the same seat just rebranded for Caterham.

I can only comment on my own Superlight Twenty seats, here's a picture from my recent build.

they certainly look almost identical to the pictures of the Tillet B6 seat here at Demon Tweeks.

Thanks Nigel, since I posted I have been doing some more research and spoken to Steve Tillet they are the same if you order then with the edges trimmed off. You just can't have the same headrest pad as this is exclusive to Caterham.

I just need to sit in a car now with them fitted to see if they work for me

No problem, I assumed there would be some exclusives when it comes to the Caterham version.

I still find it hard to believe they cost £800 odd to buy though, it's amazing what people will pay for lightweight carbon stuff!

Of course if you felt flush, you could go all out for the B7 version at almost £2500!! Wow!

Your quite right Mark!!

My seats were delivered with my kit, but the head rest pads came later, as Tillett had not produced enough Embroidered pads for Superlight Twenty Owners cars!

They are exceptionally nice seats though, and look fantastic in the carbon cockpit of my Twenty.

Heres one of the photos as the build was nearing completion, not a perfect photo as the mix of lighting in my garage gives the photos an odd colour glow!
