What are these two brackets?

Two brackets that came in a box of bits with my new Seven.

I can't recall seeing them on previous Sevens.  Can you identify them?

Hi Steve,

Bracket 1 looks like part of the headrest support if you have a caged X FIA bar or cage.  Its missing the piece that has the headrest pad on it.

Bracket2 - possibly an internal bracing bar for triangulating more on the passenger side?  Not too sure

I do have two types of headrest too so you may be correct on Bracket 1 but looking on the CC Parts pages can't find anything that matches. Any pics shoing one installed anyone?

#2 could be a roller-barrel support, but it doesn't look very new. Is it there by mistake?

I don't think #2 can be a VVC manifold / plenum support strut, it's certainly not the standard part which is a much more substantial item but the giveaway is that on your bracket the two bolts are parallel but on the VVC strut the are at right angles. Having had my memory jogged I do think that #2 looks like a plenum support I had on a previous 1998 car.  This one will be from my current 2003 car I believe from before it was upgraded to Jenvey TB's and would have had the metal VVC style plenum.

Yes, the first is the headrest support bracket from my academy car (no use to you) and the other is a plenum support that was fitted between the engine and throttle bodies - can't recall why I didn't refit it?
