I finally got around to buying one of these excellent tools to help with my build. I have added it to my Blog, but so many people on Facebook were asking for details about it, I thought it might help to provide more information about it here.

Its called the Prees-N-Snap fastener tool, and is made by a US company called Hoover.

I bought mine on line from a company called Sailrite, here's a link to their website.

I can Confirm after borrowing ScottR400`s one that it is a fantastic tool, I cant imagine trying to fit that many snaps accurately with the hammer and punch method

Nice tool, I didn't fancy hammering them either.

 

Bit pricey for me, so I welded the Caterham tool parts into a G clamp. It works quite well.
