Caterham 7 Series 3 Duratec 2.0

​Originally a 2.0 HPC built in 1993 the car was completely stripped in Winter 2014/15 and rebuilt over the Spring of 2015, since then it has completed 624 Miles

The Chassis was returned to Arch, re powdercoated and re skinned with powdercoated internal panels and lowered floors, it was then painted by Tony the Brush (TSK) who paints all Caterham’s cars.

Painted Ford Frozen White with 3M paint protection and Martini stripes/ logos (these are removable if not desired.)

All suspension parts have either been replaced or powdercoated by Arch. New parts include all widetrack wishbones, Avo adjustable dampers, springs, bushes and joints inc rose top joints. New Uprated hubs and front nad rear wheel bearings. Caterham 10 Spoke Wheels 6” front and 8” rears with nearly new Toyo 888 tyres

Big front brakes with new discs and 2 pot AP rear callipers, fitted with Pagid  RS15 front and RS14 rear pads (Mintex spare 1144 pads available)

Carbon aeroscreen, mirrors, dash, front wings, tunnel cover, ½ doors, wing protectors, sill covers, rear light blocks and indicator pods. Carbon effect soft rear boot cover

Scholar built Duratec 2.0, Jenvey throttle bodies, dry sumped, MBE ECU, new Edwards Exhaust,  new Raceline bellhousing, lightened flywheel, clutch and geared starter, R500 fan, triple pass radiator. Remapped by the 2 Steve’s giving 256BHP and 173ftlb Torque, incredibly driveable but with significant performance when you want it

6 Speed Gearbox with upgraded shift supplied by Phil at Road & Race

ZF LSD 3.62 Diff rebuilt by R& R with 30 degree ramps

Tillet Seats, new Luke/ Caterham harnesses, new Race technologies digital dash with serial interface

Other new parts fitted include rear wings, clutch master and slave cylinders, AP uprated brake master cylinder, flexi brake pipes, FIA roll bar, Powervamp battery, new loom, master switch, fuel pump, headlights, Track rods and most nuts and bolts. Nearly new propshaft and fast steering rack were sourced and fitted.

Although not currently prepared for fitting the car comes with a windscreen surround (glass cracked), stanctions, wipers, wiper motor and bar, full doors and hood. I am happy to discuss preparing the car to accept these and replace screen etc

I have an amount of spares inc belts, plugs, fluids, alternator, 3 additional sets of wheels, slick tyres etc that will be available , also a BJ Minno trailer all of which will be offered at additional cost initially to the car buyer

Still for sale and time to bring this back to the top, the car just isn't being used (last time driven was June last year) Mileage is around 1100 since rebuild.

It's also had new uprated rear wheel bearings and new rear discs plus carbon track rod covers
