MSA Speed Events Consultation August 2015

We have recieved correspondence from the MSA regarding the June consultation document and a further Consultation document for August.

It is the usual practice for publication of proposed regulation changes to be made via the MSA website; https://www.msauk.org/The-Sport/Regulations. The latest proposals will need to be presented to Motor Sports Council next month and therefore the Speed Events Committee Chairman has asked that you be provided with the proposals direct in order to give you the opportunity to put forward your views, if this is the case.

 

These proposals are therefore attached. 

 

Whilst writing I would like to take the opportunity of updating you in regard to the previous proposals for the removal of List 1B tyres from the Road going classes.  An Action is attached which clearly identifies that this proposal has been withdrawn.  However please be aware that there is a Tyre Panel meeting next month, prior to the Sprint & Hill Climb Sub-Committee, when the manufacturers will be updating the MSA with the information which will then enable the MSA to clearly identify, which List 1B or not, can be retained.
