Andy Lef
Has anyone seen or done a side by side comparison of these two SVC rear LED light products? Or (i dread to ask) have an opinion on their 'cosmetic' suitability for the Caterham - which one looks better?1. Round lights in Carbon effect block2. Rectangular Carbon effect blockThanksAndy
simon_h
Personally I think the round ones look better than those rectangular but the round look much more 'kit car'.
Jonathan Kay
I thiink the archives contain some pictures comparing one of those with standard incandescant bulbs. There is a not-too-old thread which tried to gather everything we know about LEDs. I'll try and find it when I'm home.Jonathan
7 wonders of the world
The rectangular ones will fit over exisiting mounting holes if you use the SVC carbon (fake) mount and these are 'E' marked too and significantly lighter and brighter than the sprite caravan lights that are fitted from the factory. old gimmer
I have the SVC round led lights, but painted the fake carbon to match the car body.Yes they are bright. If you fit a led relay there's no need for the resistors.Regarding their cosmetic suitability, it's my car !

elie boone
These are E marked led rear lights but you have to make a big hole in the wing for them to make look good, you can use a alloy "cheese " instead of the rubber one but it doesn't look that good.http://picasaweb.google.com/110171259558975117967/20140901LEDRearLight
