DMorris
Had some judder through the steering wheel when going through certain speeds typically 70/80 ish. Jacked the front end up tonight. Checked both sides for bearing play - nothing, Placed a piece of wood under each tyre and lifted it verticaklly - one side has a prounounced knock/movement on the lower joint between upright and lower aero wishbone. Is it a new upright (which I beleve it is) or (a) try tightening the nut or B) new lower wishbone. Can't see it can be anythng else! Cheers fellas. DMorris
any tips for removal of the old bearing and circlip from the aero wishbone - I can see a small notch on the underside of the wishbone?
DMorris
No idea how to get the old circlip out and a new one in when it arrives - the circlip in there doesn't seem to have the conventional circlip break in it with 2 holes so you can pull it together and lift it out, it appears to be an unbroken circle more like a washer, so now i'm struck ! unless it overlapshttp://www.caterhamparts.co.uk/product.php?id_product=1770Help! SM25T
Spiral circlip can be dug out with a screwdriver. Removing the bearing can be a pain if corroded in place.
