STEPHEN_SPENCER Posted July 2, 2015 Share Posted July 2, 2015 I have a Zetec engined super 7 with many mods including the R500 spec (and size) M&B wheels.I have now spent endless hours trying to purchase replacements for the CR500 tires. I have tried the Caterham on line shop where the rear 215 ZZs replacements are always out of stock (plenty of 185 fronts) and when for a short time there were 2 available wouldn't let me complete a transaction.I have also phoned Caterham parts where I have only ever got the answer machine. After years of excelent service (I've had the car now 25 years) Caterham only seen to be able to deal with car sales and thats very sad. I can't be the only one to have had this issue as I've been trying to replace my rear tires since the begining of last year.As far as I can see there are no alternatives of the correct size for the rear wheels any sugestions or alternative sources for the Avons? I emailed last night and got an immediate response, tires ordered at a reasonable price this morning and will be with me on Monday.Back on the road again after a whole season off the road through cracked rear tires (CR500).
