finmac
My rev counter is not working, removed it today and removed the block connector at the back, checked with multimeter and it seems to be getting power. Any other checks to do please? Its the original stand alone unit i.e.not stack and the car has Aces shift lights fitted - which are still working fine, as is the under bonnet Aces read out.Car is a 2000 SLRthanks
finmac
Update - removed Rev counter and Sent back to Caerbont who stripped it, fitted the latest internals and a new needle, sent it back and it works perfectly. All for £60 all in inc postage.... Excellent service, highly recommend them
Ozzy
Yep,Sent back my speedo and Rev counter last year, as the speedo was starting to stick sometimes, and unbelievably a spider got into the Rev counter face and died in there! Had them both stripped, cleaned, new bezels as they were fading a bit, new innards etc, all for £160.Bargain.
