MBB
Got two weeks in Cartagena (Spain, not Columbia) for work, but staying over the weekend. Anyone got any suggestions for things to do/ day trips (might have a hire car)?
AdrianC
Go to La Manga (east) via Portman and see the havoc of unrestrained industrial development, contrast with the affluence of La Manga Club! Adrian
OliW
Head east out of the city and there is a lovely protected beach in a cove with a nice restaurant there. Can't recall the name but you can find it easily enough by driving round the port container area. Submarines sail past as you chill out with una cana y patatas bravas whilst enjoying the view. It's one of the places where my Spanish mate takes us and is worth finding. The naval yard is worth a look too.
