SLR69
I have put a deposit down for one and have a test drive at Caterham on Wednesday Any 620R owners experience thus far would be welcome please Many thanks Stuart
Titanium7
Having been in the factory car driven by Scott Mansell at Throckmorton I would be ordering some brown trousers 😬
badger
I had the first one! Roulette green This is my first owned Caterham, although I have driven them before. I have owned 997 turbos with DMS ECU upgrades, 458, 458 Spider, Elise 160, 340R etc etc and I can honestly say that in 2k miles and 4 track events so far (2 more booked) we have had more fun with this car than in all the others put together! Straight line acceleration has to be experienced to be believed. Handling is amazing and encourages brave driving even from a billy like me. Lots of unresolved bits (exhaust, wheelarch etc), but Dean at Caterham Midlands has been great and I feel that we have been well looked after. The car is a big step-up in every respect for Caterham, including price, but will move the brand and customer base forward. I look at the EVO write up of the Atom 3.5R and I am happy to be in my 620R. Would recommend a 620R to anyone who can fit into one. Enjoy!

Stationary M25 Traveller
Hi Stuart Good to see you are still in the fold. That's a lot of horsepower for the lanes of Guernsey 😳 Ian
SLR69
Many thanks for the comments Titanium 7 - I will order some brown trousers too ! Badger - don't like the "unresolved bids !". I currently have a Superlight R which I have had for 8 years which I will be part exchanging albeit will advertise it as well and fit into that, so hopefully the 620R won't be a problem albeit the narrow seats might be an issue so the test drive on Wednesday will determine this. Ian - Yes a bit too much power and speed for Guernsey with a 35mph limit but most of my driving is in France or trackdays there (including organising them which I have been doing for 10 years and have just booked two trackday events for next year)
