LowFlying's arrived

I find our monthly announcement that LF has arrived, landed on the mat, or late etc rather amusing. Whilst I realise that the UK Post service isn't quite as predictable as the sun rising or setting I am sure that those who have elected to continue to receive the hard copy find this a normally predictable event.

On the subject of the predictable setting of the Sun, I do find it amusing when visiting Florida how people (Americans), watch the sun set on the Keys and then clap when it drops out of view over the horizon. As if it might start to rise again *rolleyes*

Have you never sat on the beach at Café Mambo in Ibiza during sunset when everyone, mostly who are off their boxes by then, clap at the sunset? It signifies the time to start throwing shapes...

That's a relief, I'm glad someone has started this thread as I was thinking of starting one to ask if it was actually coming this month.

Talking of rapturous applause, I remember getting to the end of a plane journey in the states somewhere, the pilot put the thing on the ground fairly smoothly but nothing to write home about and all the yanks started clapping, some years later I went to New York and the same thing happened but as it was a big plane there were a lot of Americans and thus a lot of clapping, so much so I wondered if he was going to throttle up and do a lap of honour. *rolleyes*

My copy's just arrived and strangely I can't see any pics of Dr Slotter's car this month...surely an error? 😬

However, there *is* a picture of your car (and Gareth's, and Paul's). Have you spotted it yet?

Al, I realised it was yours as soon as I saw it wasn't lined up with any other car...

Great feature on the Dunsfold handling day. When I was there, someone was operating a quadcopter camera. Does anyone know if the footage is available?

Hi Phil,

Could I please ask you to drop me a line to editor@lotus7club.com with some details of the print registration issues you are seeing? I'd like to take it up with the printers. Has anyone else seen any problems?

Thanks,

Michael

Check out YouTube Bob as I believe some of the video footage pre editing is up on there (search 'my caterham' it's by Mark Garnett Surrey AR......Steve Mell may also have some of his video up there too...)

I'm sure an edited version will find it's way onto here soon enough *thumbup*

Yes! Mine arrived today, and many pages have significant color registration issues. Content is still great though! *smile* *thumbup*

I think there's a new rule where if you get more than a hundred photo's in low flying in one year your band from submitting for a while 😬

For the record, it is actually quite rare for a photo I have taken myself to be in LF... I have people to do that for me these days!
