Domus
As above, Seven's cover is due, what does the above do for me for £29?
DougBaker
In a moment a lawyer will be along to give you advice on this, however, be aware that the advice will cost £100 for the initial consultation with a further £50 per followup question. Red SLR
I may be missing the point but I always thought it was just a case of go to a no win no fee type outfit if you need a motoring type solicitor.
I reply to every thread
Marginally better than nothing. They won't let you choose your own solicitor, they will send you to an unqualified claims monkey, and they will bottle it as soon as it looks like the insurer might actually have to pay out anything. You don't get something for nothing and this is a case in point
Roger Ford
Previous thread. I took it out in the end.
tiddy1
I reciently had my towbar mounted bike back, and 4 bikes taken out by someone rear ending me and when I went to claim throug the car insurance was told that I could not as the car was not damaged, the legal cover allowed me to persue the other driver for the costs, they are still working on it so I will let you know if it was worth it! Mort
Flux throw this in for free, as do many other insurers such as Frank Pickles, so it's worth shopping around.
Dazzled
My 7 was hit last year in France. I'm glad I had the legal expenses cover as they recovered all my uninsured losses and excess. The Frenchies insurance details were almost indecipherable on the accident form he filled in but I had enough photos of his vehicle for them to track him down in Annecy and get me what was owed. So - IME it's worthwhile.
