Gave the car it's first proper clean today and finally fitted the aeroscreen!

All on the blog

I do have one question - where can I buy some caps for wiper spindles?

If looking for a bulk buy, ULine has them at 18 cents (US) each, but with a minimum lot of 50 units (25 pairs). Available on-line in red, black, blue, green, white, or clear.

I also found them in person at my local gigantic home improvement store, Home Depot, as well as a smaller local hardware store being sold as "thread protectors" for about 75 cents US each. These were gray.

REF: ULine 1/2" end caps

edit - Really good looking R500! *wavey*

Only if you want to pay a small fortune in P&p ( or maybe the terms have changed or a Delbert is a cock fine is applied at point of order )

Got mine free by smiling at CC and asking nicely

Aren't some of those cleaning products that strip away brake dust etc pretty aggressive?

What's wrong with warm soapy water & a bit of elbow grease?

Cheaper to. *wink*

I've been using Bilberry wheel cleaner for almost 2 years on my AMG wheels and the lacquer / diamond cut finish is perfect. This product *really* works *thumbup*

Maybe... but it's getting collected on Thursday, then I'm off to Egypt for a two week diving holiday... So not for a while yet! ☹️Quoting Grant_7:

I was just about to say something similar.
