Dave B
Just finished connecting everything up after gearbox rebuild and cam belt change. All timed in OK and started first turn of the key. Problem is my wideband lambda is reading 1.20 to 1.28 on idle. Stationary revs to 3500 and lambda drops to a reasonable 0.98 to 1.04. Any ideas why the change in mixture at idle, could it be cams timed slightly differently to before work done? Dave B
Jonathan Kay
What sort of ECU and other modifications? Jonathan
Dave B
Yes would help wouldn't it. 1600 with 285H cams ported VVC head, without VVC mechs. Emerald ECU ( early M3DK ), Jenvey throttle bodies ( Weber 45 style ) on short manifold. 4:1 exhaust with cat, R300 box. Engine was running great before work, although was slightly lean at idle.
