Woody7
I know, I know, get a half hood......... But just wondering does the full hood fit with the track day roll bar? (more for parking purposes really ....honest.)

DJ.
No need to be embarassed about using the hood. I recently had 3 days driving in horrendous weather and was very grateful I had my full hood. It kept me and my luggage dry, and at one stage I was following a friend with a half hood, guess what he was misting up and wiping his screen with a cloth and mine was completely clear 😬 Duncan
Pete Underhill
Half hood or full hood, either will keep you dry. I use both, depending on circumstances. The worst thing I've found with wet driving in the Seven is the insane amount of water that gets kicked up by the front wheels and sprays up between the body and side screen. I've literally looked across to see a 'water feature' gushing onto the passenger seat.

aerobod - near CYYC
Quoting Pete Underhill: The worst thing I've found with wet driving in the Seven is the insane amount of water that gets kicked up by the front wheels I tried a dash for home to try and beat a thunderstorm without the doors on and just the tonneau over the passanger side on Tues evening. Unfortunately I lost, 10km in a heavy downpour. It was amazing the amount of water coming off the tyres when hitting the puddles, like someone throwing a bucket of water at the rear wings. Had to dry off each of the cards and notes in my wallet and leave the driver harness for 2 days to fully dry. Seat bottoms and rubber mats out and a few towels to mop up the water and all is well. DJ.
Big mud flaps on the front wheels makes a huge difference if you can stand the look of them Duncan

eagle
Quoting DJ.: I recently had 3 days driving in horrendous weather and was very grateful I had my full hood...I was following a friend with a half hood...he was misting up and wiping his screen with a cloth and mine was completely clear 😬 Duncan I had exactly this yesterday. the spray gets sucked into the cabin and covers everything in a sort of drizzle. I ended up having to stop in a petrol station to put the full hood on. Then I still got a "what's that on your car?!" when I parked up...!
