Martin J
A nice bit of film with Jay taking part in this historic event but taking four days to complete compared with Stirling Moss taking just one to complete a 1000 miles on public roads. 😶🌫️ Edited by - martin jeffrey on 11 Jun 2014 08:48:
Wile7
It is a great bit of video - there was a thread on this here but I think the title was a bit misleading
Rich N
That is great. There is still relatively little coverage of the event and the last few years were 'turbulent' in terms of organisation. I'm lucky enough to have done the tribute twice this brings back a lot of memories!

Martin J
To have that sort of money to indulge your passion......lucky guy. I enjoy his films about cars, bikes, petrol & steam driven you name it & have probably watched nearly all of them now. Also, It keeps a bunch of talented guys busy in his "shop" carrying out the restorations etc. 😶🌫️
Gnockoff
I think JL was invited to drive the XK120 by Jaguar with Ian Cullen as co driver. Cullen is the designer of the F Type. A mate of mine rode the Camera bike used to film that and said that as far as he is concerned they are all a bunch of lunatics, (said with tongue in cheek). He was seriously pushed to keep up and didn't on some occasions, on a Beemer 1600 bike.
