Garth
Meant to be going camping this weekend with a mate and our daughters, but have failed to book a campsite! Only criteria is that we need to have a campfire - spent the last two hours searching the net to no avail - wondering if the POBC might work? Wile7
Garth - you have probably tried Pitch up Web site but they do list several around the area. Although I am in Cranleigh I have not camped locally so not really sure...hope the link helps though Dave
Roger Ford
Blackberry Wood is really nice. If you go to ukcampsites you can do a search with campfires as a criterion.
Krismuss
There seems to be quite a few near me though they're not advertised, however, I have seen kids and caravans on them. Not sure about electricity or running water though I've definitely seen fires going and they do allow dags! 😬
Steve Cornford
Years ago stayed here, a campsite within walking distance of Bodiam Castle. They will even sell you logs for the campfire!
Jon.B
How about this? Camp fires allowed. http://www.kittscamp.co.uk Down the road from me, not been there myself but heard it's nice. Close to Bluebell railway, Sheffield Park gardens, Brighton 20 mins away and coast. etc etc....
Garth
Thanks for all the responses - I had a positive response from Etherley Farm near Ockley - facilities seem ok and it is just for one night to please the girls! Thanks again. Roads not good enough to take the 7 ☹️
car photographer
Lol, if you want good roads, there's two camp sites in Chertsey / Laleham , both have facilities and both near the Thames. The inbetweeners were filmed on the Laleham campsite
Peter Bishop
You could try Pleasant Rise Farm, Alfriston, they do allow campfires, lovely location! We have been up there in the seven, just take it steady up the track. Don't think you need to book, can't see anything on the internet, you can probably just turn up, it's a big field. Cheers, Peter
