eagle
Whilst that article is from March of this year, there are new reports saying that it is officially axed. Link

TobyCoulson
Can't say it's surprising. Why would a company like Renault want to get involved with Caterham despite the delusional aspirations of its owner. Many tears will be shed before this venture finally comes to a close. Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted June 10, 2014 Author Leadership Team Share Posted June 10, 2014 It would certainly appear to be dead and buried! I'd been reading a few of the articles and hadn't realised I'd linked to an older one Stu.
malcolm1sim
I am with you TC on this one. From the start a No No and even dare I say it a tad foolish.
TobyCoulson
Quoting malcolm1sim: I am with you TC on this one. From the start a No No and even dare I say it a tad foolish. Fernandes only bought the marque because he couldn't Lotus. He never has had an interest in the car company apart from some insane marketing ploys like this one and the daft motorbike and Aeroscreen abomination. The sooner the car making side is back in the hands of a true enthusiast rather than a show one the better.

Guest
Were ACBC, GN and AA Seven enthusiasts?
Eric McLoughlin
ACBC no - which is why he tried hard for 7 years to get rid of the thing. GN - I would say yes - not as a driver but as a person who spotted a commercially viable project with lots of potential.
Pierson
Were ACBC, GN and AA Seven enthusiasts? No, only three, surely?
