Nigel Riches
What are the pro's and con's of these injection methods? Background, Zetec E, Jenvey TB,s, Emerald K3 ECU My engine presently is set to run batched injection. However, the ECU can accomodate sequential injection, the inlet cam on the zetec has a sensor trigger. Will I be able to get more grunt from sequential injection? or better economy, if that was ever part of the equation. I have had a look through various web pages, some say the batched injection , as it "squirts" twice, per engine cycle, equals the fuel delivery of sequential injection. If I feed the engine info into a formula for injection sizing it gives different injector sizes. Present injectors are 191.8 cc, but using the formula BHP X 5 / 4 = inj cc,(from Weber) to get sizing, leads to an injector of 213.75 cc. So, different size injectors for different injection technique?. Or do I worry to much about this stuff. Any responses gratefully recieved. Nigel. Jason Plato
I've done both via emerald mapping and found no difference in our level or precision of mapping .
