Area Representative Richard Price Posted February 6, 2014 Area Representative Share Posted February 6, 2014 Too heavy ❗ Hi spec ultralight 4's with standard triumph disks work well for me, at a saving of something like 2kg per caliper
Mankee
Same as Richard for me, except I have Ultralite 2s all round on standard sized discs. Over 7kgs saved in total! Haven't tried out the rears yet as I've only just fitted them, but the fronts have been standing up well to track abuse and I've not had caliper body flexing problems that users have previously reported. jp7
Hi Mankee, Do you have a handbrake with the rears or not both as the car's track only? Cheers Andy
Mankee
Hey Andy. You're right; my rears have no handbrake mechs. But Hi Spec make a version with handbrake that doesn't weigh that much more: http://www.hispecbrake.co.uk/ULSIESVA.html
