Guest
Does anyone know of some detailed pictures of how the headlamp wiring (in particular the indicator wiring) threads through the new headlamp bracket?
Grubbster
Some clues here but it is a pretty horrid job, I removed the sleeving and replaced it with heatshrink, I also cut the pins off the sires (got new ones and a proper crimp tool from Polevolt). You have to have a grommet at the headlamp end of the bracket and in the hole at the chassis as well - and all wires plus heatshrink need to get through, not fun ☹️

I've managed to do them myself, and as there was fairly vague or little information in the manual and on blatchat, I took some pictures and put together a guide. Hope it helps anyone needing the info. http://www.caterhamr500.co.uk/2014/02/build-day-four-headlight-and-indicator.html
Grubbster
Useful pictures , but I think you are also supposed to have a grommet in the hole in the mount at the headlamp end though (but I think this is OTT to be honest). There is a guide here, look at point 15. Do you know where you'll go for IVA? There are 2 guides available from CC as Nottingham and Gillingham 'do things differently'. I've probably still got both on my laptop, let me know if you need them. Edited by - Grubbster on 7 Feb 2014 21:34:

Not got that far yet It'll be going back for the PBC and Caterham will be organising the IVA.
Martin J
That does look more awkward to do than the earlier style headlamp brackets on mine. Mine was pretty easy but that's progress for you. At least you are getting one of the PITA jobs out of the way early on in the build. Nice clear pictures on your blog.
Dave Rayner
I found that using an old bycycle break cable with the wires duck taped to the end did the job but you may have to do it one wire at a time, also, for a road vehicle the rubber grommet must be in place for the IVA test.
