Blackbird donor bike

I am about to embark on a Blackbird 7 is there any one out there who is doing the same I would love to talk to you and if you need a pair of hands in the kent south east london area . fitting a diff etc give me a mail?

 

a donor bike is about 4 grand cheaper than the factory option of buying the engine and I am looking at this at the moment has anyone done this and what are the pifalls .

 

Has anyone experience of whacking nitrous through a blackbird engine or any other engine for that matter.

 

Steve Parrish did 85 and got a world record I am sure somone can do better

 

Does anyone know a good shrink !

Yeah I am doing the same project for next years race car.

 

Only got as far as rolling chassis & purchase of blackbird engine, but work commitments paused things at moment

 

I am on Sussex / Surrey border.

 

Bought my engine through the clasified ads in Motoring News.

 

There is an engine with exhaust & reversing gearbox for sale in this weeks edition, less hassle than selling of all the unwanted bits.
