KRL
Does anyone know what the part number is for the 4 bolts which attach the front brake discs to the hub? My car is a metric chassis sigma with standard brakes. I had a search on the caterham website but it is not too clear.
Mankee
I reused mine when I changed my discs, but I think it is these ones: http://www.caterhamparts.co.uk/product.php?id_product=1459 Check that the head of the bolts don't foul anything after you've put everything back together. And use the old hub-in-the-wheel trick to stop the hub and disc assembly from bouncing around the garage as you try to wrestle the bolts off. Edit: Oops, I didn't see that they were out of stock. The new website isn't as easy to use as the old one. At least the bolt spec is listed and you can ring up Redline for the bits, which is something I need to do actually. KRL
Thanks Mankee, my bolts have an 8mm hex key insert on the head so are different from the ones in the link. Already used the hub in wheel trick to get the bolts out and it worked brilliantly. The 8mm hex bit rounded some of the edges in the bolt head so thought it would be best to change the bolts.
