andygoodliffe
Hi all - I've finally taken the plunge and am now in possession ok a KitCarbon carbon aeroscreen. I notice immediately that it has no centre lip / popper fitment like the Caterham bespoke aeroscreen. Basically is this going to be an issue? I plan to have the aeroscreen interchangeable with the windscreen so I was only going to attach it at the ends and the non existent middle plate. From any ones experience is this a non starter? Is the screen with no centre fix point just gonna flex everywhere? Cheers for your thoughts...
Roadsport06
Just fixes on the ends, it is fine that way. On my brooklands I fitted down on the underside. Fit the retaining channels with capitive nuts to swap between screens, I've had a brooklands for perhaps 4 yes now and I never put on the windscreen even though it only takes a few minutes. andygoodliffe
Yep fitted the active nuts previously so that bits easy. Does the brook lands set up have a rigid ally mount? The KitCarbon screen is reasonably flexible.
mav
Fix a couple of poppers to it. Simple effective and peace of mind
