Grim Reaper
Sorry, found a cheaper one here I should add that this is the equivalent to the Mann WK612/2, Unipart GFE7119. It has M16x1.5 fittings at either end Edited by - Grim Reaper on 26 Jul 2013 23:12:
BenF
How often are people replacing their fuel filters, out of interest?
Grim Reaper
Well I've just read a quote that said usually every two years, every year if possible, but I've just changed mine after 10 years cut the old one open the other day and it's not that bad, certainly doesn't look like it was causing any problems. rj
I think, if you're running Bio-Diesel, it makes sense to chance your fuel filter every 10k miles. Otherwise once every 10 years is more than adequate as long as you don't use crap fuel containing half seagulls and the like. I have run a VW TDI for more than 150k miles on the same filter without hassle.
Roger Ford
Quoting Grim Reaper: Sorry, found a cheaper one here That seems to be £7.25 with postage. Though I thought when I looked before that it had free postage, so maybe they've changed it.
