Nov-07
Can the POBC tell me the specification and suggest a possible source of the O-rings used to fit between the dashboard and the 2" instruments of a Seven? Mine have deteriorated with age (I know the feeling ☹️)
Dr Slotter
Erm... other than Caterham? http://www.caterhamparts.co.uk/product.php?id_product=4019
Nov-07
Yes, I did think of that 😬 However, that size of ring does not appear to be listed as an SV part - which is what I was looking for. I am sure that one could get them cheaper elsewhere but it's only pennies.
Stationary M25 Traveller
Same on SV as S3. Most o-rings tend to be too large in section for this diameter. Best to get the square section ones from CC.
Nick Green
I needed some new O rings for one point on my dry sump tower setup on my K. I googled for O-ring suppliers and found one where you could specify diameter and thickness of O ring. And the material it was made of. Can't remember their name right now, but not hard to find. Would need to look through receipts on home computer to find it.

Birkin S3 ZA.
Look up hydraulic hose companies, most will sell O ring cord in all sizes then cut and super glue to size. We can get 1,2mm to 10mm+ I am sure you will find some. Chris.

elie boone
How many O rings do you need ?
Nov-07
Three, if I only replace the small 50mm instrument rings. I have found a source of O-ring "cord". I wonder if my "normal" super-glue would stick properly; the recommended variety is fiendishly expensive
Englishmaninwales
I got them from the plumbing section in B&Q
