anyone booked llandow campsite for the 4th May?

 

I just tried too and was told they only do a 3 night stay since its a bank holiday.

OK, Just spoke to LLandow Camp site...ditto...they will only do 3 day bookings, with it being a bank holiday.

 

I spoke with Sharon at Llandow circuit to book my half test day on Fri 4th (as per Simon's other post) and asked if there was anywhere else to camp - and we discussed and they kindly agreed on the following arrangement;

 

Llandow circuit will let L7C members camp at the Llandow circuit itself on the evening of Friday 4th May. I'll be acting as keyholder and will be on the circuit at all times on friday night. Camping is not available at other times (ie. Thurs or Saturday nights)

 

If you are taking part in the Friday Llandow test day there is no additional charge for camping at the circuit on the Friday night.

 

If you are not taking part in the Friday Llandow test day, but want to camp on Friday night, so you can then take part in Saturday's L7C Llandow sprint event, then there will be a £5.00 camping charge (payable to Llandow not me ).

 

Booking for the test day is as per Simons other post (phone or email circuit).

 

Booking for camping only is not necessary, just turn up pitch in the paddock area and camp - however if you intend to turn up after 8pm can you please let me know via PM so that I can make sure that I am available to unlock the gates I let you in.

Great thanks Chris (I only know it's Chris because I spoke to the circuit 2 mins after you and they said you had just called about the same thing).

 

I've now done the same, so booked in for the PM session of testing and will then camp at the circuit.

This works out even better than normal, as we don't have to pack up at the campsite early on the Saturday morning and drive over to the circuit

Thanks for sorting this. Don't think I can make the test day but will be arriving to camp on the Friday evening. Hopefully will be there before 8.00 pm although that may depend on the dreaded M25. Do I pay my £5 to someone on Saturday?
