c7kjt
Having just fitted my great new wheels courtesy of Rob, I am now looking at getting the old ones refurbished so I have a neat looking second set for track days etc. Does anyone know a suitable place where this can be done. The wheels are the original black/alloy KN 10 spoke style from a mid/late eighties supersprint (do they have a proper name?). The black bits are fine it's just the alloy thats looking less than shiny. Cheers in advance. Kevin Thomas kevin.thomas@bigfoot.com
Red SLR
There are a few companies who will even pick up your wheels from your house and deliver them back to your door, I will get some numbers if you like - but I beleive you can be looking at £50 a wheel or more. CHRIS CLARK
I think they were called 'Revolution' wheels, but I can't swear to that!
Steve Fleming
Don't know where you are but there's a place in Tonbridge, Kent which specialises in alloy wheel refurbishment @ approx £40/wheel. Can dig out the details if you want. Steve
c7kjt
Simon/Steve, any info you've got would be great, thanks. Chris, I thought revolutions were the solid 4 or 5 spoke wheels, these are the ones with the 10 spokes in 5 pairs in a sort of diamond shape, i.e. / / Cheers in advance. Steve Fleming
Details of Tonbridge place: Spit & Polish 01732 367771. Never used them for Caterham stuff but had a insurance job for a Range Rover which was well executed! Steve
