abbot Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Green Cat R400RAV heading down the A16 with red cap. I tooted as I passed you in my French tintop.
John Vine Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Very likely 'twas me heading for my hotel, en route to sunny Gers. My R400 is black, and the reg letters are JAV. But I was wearing a red (Millwood's) cap! I didn't hear your toot, but then my ears were full of earplugs. JV
CageyH Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Sunny Gers? Must be the one not close to Toulouse then
John Vine Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Well, Kevin, it was sunny yesterday and 20C (and today, though unusually windy ). In fact, the sun came out as soon as I reached the Loire on Thursday. JV
CageyH Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Yes, it's a bit windy. Has been lovely recently, but we are due a few bad days before it brightens up again. The forecast at the wekend was pretty much rain all week, and some pretty dark clouds are rolling in over Launac.
abbot Posted March 15, 2011 Author Posted March 15, 2011 Getting old and colour blind now. So I recon that was you. It was certainly a nice evening for a blast. Chris
John Vine Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 Hi Chris, Well, it was getting dark! The blat was rather short-lived as my hotel was only about three miles down the road. The next two days made up for it, though: cross-country to Valençay, and then a fabulous run following the old N20 to Cahors and on to the Gers (calling in on Ex-Chairman Roger and Barbara en route). Happy days! JV
