Blackbirdman Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Advice needed! I've just fitted a new SL cage (the one with the curved top bars) and brought some FIA safety padding. Question - is it possible to bend the padding to fit the radius of the curved bars? How have others done this? Would warming the padding help? Maybe cut slots/notches? - I don't want to do this at £20 something a length without checking first! POBC to the rescue I hope. Matt

It normally comes with double sided sticky tape on the back which will hold it in place, but people normally use cable ties and/or gaffer tape as well.
CharlesElliott Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 You can just about see it here. (I'm sure Jo won't mind me using her site!)
Blackbirdman Posted March 9, 2011 Author Posted March 9, 2011 Charles, Great, thanks that puts my mind at rest. Matt
Kevsta Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Cable ties a must, the sticky stuff does very little.
