andy_h Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Selling some PC's;- Here here here here here here here
peterg Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 these have come up at just at the right time as our main PC seems to be dying and I'm only up the road near Fleet, bid on a couple, fingers crossed I can afford one
Paul White Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Hi Andy, I could do with one of these, probably the first on the list, but I don't do Ebay; do you have a sensible "sell now" price? I'm not far from you, so can bring cash and collect.
andy_h Posted March 3, 2011 Author Posted March 3, 2011 Peter Paul, Send me a blatmail with an offer. I've had a couple of people wanting to know a 'Buy it Now' price but I don't know if I can add this once a bid has already been placed. Anybody know? Cheers, Andy
alan7 Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Andy sorry once a bid is posted you can't give it a "Buy it now"
Paul White Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Sorry Andy, I just don't know how to use Ebay and don't have the time to work it out but if they don't make their reserve, let me know. Paul.
Roger Ford Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 There's no reserve, so they will sell. Setting up an ebay account really isn't difficult, or time consuming.
andy_h Posted March 4, 2011 Author Posted March 4, 2011 and not for 99p I hope Roger, Did I read somewhere you were looking for RAM? I've a load, different type/speed etc but I don't know what it is. Is there an easy way of telling, i.e code on the memory? Cheers, Andy
Roger Ford Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 No, I wasn't looking for RAM, I was trying to sell some (currently at £1.30 ). In order to positively identify your RAM, you need to look at the number and locations of the slots, and count the number of pins. I have a selection of different sticks which are labelled. if you want to bring your collection over when you come to collect that screen, I can check it out for you if you like.
Roger Ford Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Paul: if you want me to bid on your behalf - and you're prepared to collect from and pau Andy - just let me know your max price and I'll do so. (Andy I assume you won't have a problem with that?)
andy_h Posted March 4, 2011 Author Posted March 4, 2011 Ok by me. Roger, I'll try and remember to bring the RAM when I collect the screen. Cheers, Andy
Paul White Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 I do have an Ebay account and have used it on numerous occasions but never with any success and therefore I choose not to frustrate myself any further I only want one PC, but if i tried to bid for yours, I would end up with none or all 7 Not for me I'm afraid Roger - YHM
