marshall cook Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 I ordered the AP Racing master cylinder from CC and it fixed all my soft pedal issues. I had these things here on the old Girling master and thought they may be bias adjusters so left them on, all working well, just wondering, are they original?
Sheds Moderator Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 I don't think they are bias adjusters as to work you would expect them to transfer fluid from one circuit to the other, not just restrict a circuit. The only time I have come across things like this was to block off a pipe for maintenance, it saves the system draining down if you need to remove a slave cyloinder or pipe.
Sheds Moderator Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 That's exactly what I think they are Anthony. Most line locks can be operated after operating the footbrake, in this case it looks unlikely but line locking for maintenance is a possibility IMO.
marshall cook Posted March 1, 2011 Author Posted March 1, 2011 Thanks folks! Seems like a lot of effort to keep from bleeding the lines a little less. :-)
