sbesley
Just gone dry-sumped, so the anti-cavitation tank is surplus to requirements. Any offers? Stephen.

StewartG
Will it fit a Vauxhall and is it complete or would I need to buy other bits and how much?
Nick
Typical! I fitted one of these a few weeks ago! Edited by - Nick on 7 Oct 2000 19:20:
sbesley
Well it's come from a K series (Superlight-R), so it would probably fit any K series. I don't know if it would fit or be suitable for other engines. It has various hoses connected but that's it. I don't know what else might be required. There are a couple of other as yet unidentified bits in the box of spares that may or may not be relevant... included if they turn out to be! Nick, what was included with your tank? Nick
I didn't fit the anti-cav tank myself so didn't see the various bits; however, the bill states: 71304 Oil/air seperator 111.80 71304C Oil/air tank pipe package 93.49 71306 Lower platform 3.75 71307 Upper bracket 3.75 I had problems with oil leaking from the various pipes, cured by liberal use of PTFE tape. Peter Carmichael
Have a look at http://www.se7ens.net/pub7/pictures/anti_cav_kit.zip (1.2MB) for the fitting instructiuons. Edited by - Peter Carmichael on 11 Oct 2000 00:35:
Peter Carmichael
The fitting involves drilling the cam cover, so if you have gone over to dry sump this will have been plugged somehow. What you may like to do is swap cam covers with your purchaser - you both get what you need.
