Bottom Steering bush

Couldn't fit the exhaust primaries with the steering column in the way, so I removed it, I think I have disturbed the botton bush as the column will not fit inside the hollow sleeve. Taken them both out and they slide easily, taken out the top plastic bearing and the they will not slide.

Top bush is easily pulled out, but how do I check the bottom one. 🤔

Top tip for new builders.............DO NOT fanny about with the bottom steering bush

 

A couple of 5 thou knocks and a 10 thou knock had it all lined up again.
