K-series component weights

Not the usual question of how much a K-series weighs once built up, but I need to satisfy my paranoia that my engine isn't going to fall off the engine stand and smash itself to bits while I'm pulling the crank, rods and pistons out of it!

 

How much, roughly, does the following weigh:

 

- engine block with liners, pistons, rods

- crank bearing lower rail

- crank itself

 

I lifted a built up head minus cams, pulleys and cam carrier at the weekend and was surprised by how light it was.

Approximate but close

 

Crank 12KG

Block with no ladder 8.25KG

Ladder 4.25KG

Liners (each) 645gms

Rod/piston assemblies (each - will vary) 790gms

Front pulleys with bolt 1.1KG

 

Oily
