heavenly7 Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 I have had a leak from my gear box for some while. It is not too bad, but I have decided that I would rather have it rectified. I seem to recall from some time back these leaks are usually due to the sender. Has anyone got any tips to help identify whether it is definitely from the sender or some where else. What are the other possibilities please? I also seem to recall that the sender seal can be repalced in situ but is quite fiddly. Any tips please if that is the source? Thank you for any help.
huwp Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 I had a small leak from the tail-shaft seal. It cost me £160 to get sorted professionally and was done without the need to remove the 'box. Huw
