Martin S.
Such an idylic setting that we decided to stay over on the Saturday and watch some of the vintage event the next day. By the 2nd practice James Baxter in a 1934 Frazer Nash on crossply tyres had posted a 34.91sec . (We went after that so dont know the final time) He did admit to having driven the hill a few times before but still couldn't believe what I was seeing 😶🌫️ Another Nash and an ERA were on his tail. The sight and sound of those old cars (including a 27ltr Hispano) being thrashed up that hill was fantastic.
