Who's going to Oulton on the 31st?

Look forward to seeing you again CC - it's been a while...

As Jerry said 3 of us will be ambling up to lose our Oulton car virginity (done it on the bikes!). Anyone recommend some hotels for the night before?

We've got to get the cars through Wheeltorque's Spa outing first and judging from Richards posting about the Ring we'll need our wits about us to avoid German car debris!!

david

thank you for organising accomodation, is blue cap something my wife would know about(in her professional capacity)?

spoke to bill today, are you going to collect the laverda battery?

CC

all davids toys have far too much time and money spent on them.

i still have lustful thoughts for his last cast off!

barbara

thanks for your advice prior to curborough; nearly made it through 1 timed run before the throttle cable broke. hope to see you at oulton

CC

about as clean as one of my old friends new jota 25 years ago after he'd had it a week (and washed it)

it's so little used you could tempt him to sell it to you if you are interested (got to offset the new btb exhaust and 15" split rims)

Ah Ha!

Perhaps I should ring Mrs Ward then with an unbelievable offer.....say a grand for an old lump of metal then, and i'll even collect it so she doesn't miss Eastenders!

Anyway back to the thread, I know there are more booked on so where are they?

Open pitlane at the countries second best circuit...I thought they'd be queuing to get on!

We've got a cracked chassis! (It's the way he drives wink.gif)

Rear end of the car is once again being dismantled as I type. Seats are out, petrol tank's on it's way out - here we go again bum.gif

But we're still going anyway !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! even if we haven't got a car sad.gif see you at the Blue Cap.

If Alex or Rob reads this, how are you intending to operate the open pit lane?

Keep a certain number of cars on track and then as one comes in, let another one out?

The only open type day I've been on before was at Spa where becuase of the numbers it was just go out and come in as you please! (However, my tyres wished there had been a queue!)

Hey Chaos, what about me!

You're right on both counts, either a one off one on system, or if the circuit isn't at the capacity limit we set then you can go on when you like, depends on the final number of entries.

Look forward to seeing you there, maybe even with the Telford 7 wink.gif

Should be there, haven't driven Oulton before but looking forward to it as Alex seems to rate it nearly as highly as Cadwell. Have to survive LLandow and Spa first though, see you all up there.

Do we have any idea of how many and what type of cars are attending. Is Mr Ince there giving passenger rides again (much appreciated and highly recomended).

What's the noise limit?

All the best Stumpy

They do sound test at Oulton, but I have not had a problem in the past and I would say my seven is louder than average (whoops, have I started something there!wink.gif

I think Alex is wrong. (oh no, here we go again!) Oulton is better than Cadwell. The first half of Cadwell (pit lane onwards) is too narrow and IMHO doesn't flow. Cadwell is good, but the Oulton full lap is a proper car circuit.

Different class mate.

You'll love Spa. Now that is a great circuit. I'd love to go back this year, poss in Sept.

Have a good time and see you in July.
