Prats like Pele

excess baggage

Recommended Posts

A little harsh I feel.

Was he not just using an out of date creditcard that belonged to himself? Had they picked this up then he would have had a little more strife perhaps but no more harm to others.

Surely, drag racing down a crowded runway is at least as prattish?

EB, may I remind you of the terms you accepted when you registered to this forum. For reference I've copied it here (below) - the bottom paragraph should be of interest to you.

There are a few other people here who should also read it. As a director of this club I am actively seeking ways of preventing this kind of thread from appearing. We have choices, which include shutting down Blatchat completely (and yes, this is being seriously considered by team members). The more postings like this one and others appear, the more likely it is to happen.

Something has to give and trust me, something will happen soon.

The terms you all have accepted:

Registration for these forums is completely free! All that we ask is that you abide by the policies outlined below. Please read them, at the bottom of the page you will find a couple of buttons to choose whether to accept or decline.

Aw, that spoils all the fun. We cant even talk about VBH anymore. Mr Crickmore cannot be rude about BMWs. None of us can be rude about tupperware sevens. At this rate, I shall have to start talking to my wife again.

Hello EB, Paul, Roger and others...

First of all, as Roger points out (I wouldn't even bother, actually) he or anyone else running this place is not responsible for what I say. And neither should he be. The "Internet" is full of people mistakenly believing they are owed something, a service or information; this is not so, EB. We are all here voluntarily, no one is forcing us to be here and no one is forcing us to contribute anything, especially not "anyone flaunting dodgy credit cards is an asshole in my book"-type of comments. I am not flaunting or advocating anything. Forgetting for a moment that it was MINE, MY credit card was a perfectly valid credit card albeit cancelled on my request, due to damage inflicted upon the said card through everyday use (sainsbury's and such). Also forgetting for a moment that the "law enforcement officers" in question (fascists in my book, that's what their "Auftritt" was like anyway - ESPECIALLY SPEAKING THEIR LANGUAGE MYSELF AND HAVING LISTENED TO THE CONVERSATION THEY'VE HAD ABOUT ME BETWEEN THEMSELVES) had no shred of evidence (i.e. proof to you and me) that I was actually doing the indicated "number" (182) on their 'phasers-on-stun' device; for all I know they could've been "shooting" low-flying (heh, pun there) sparrows or DC-10s 2 minutes prior to our encounter. Forgetting all those things, you can still call me an asshole, but in an email to me, not trying to involve everyone on this board in seeing how righteous and politically correct you really are. I am new here, and I wouldn't like to impose on anyone around here, especially since this group seems to have none of that common garbage found on many a board nowdays and I commend everyone here for keeping it like that. So, stick to the topic, EB. It was "speeding tickets in france (or else)..." and about harshness of coppers throughout europe when they spot "ZE FOREIGN REGISTRATION MARK, JA!?"

Cheers

Pele "the asshole"

I must say Excess Baggage's posting always make me chuckle, even when he has directed his wrath at me. I can see why some people get offended, if you don't know EB.

We don't expect anything to the contrary, in fact I have missed not seeing some of his outrageous posting recently. teeth.gif

What a colourful out web site this is tongue.gif

If these rules were strictly adhered to, there wouldn't be a single posting in 'Shining Wit'

Roger,

If I ever get a spare hour I may decide to read that lot. Sadly I don't think that a spare hour will present itself in the forseeable future. I take it that you are threatening me with expulsion from the 7 club if I don't mend my ways? Don't hold your breath, put it to the vote now so that we all know where we stand.

If I feel that someone is a prat I am afraid that I will express that view. Had you been around a little longer you would be aware that I am always one of the first to jump to the defence of 'the team' when they are slagged off, and despite your (I suspect independant)comments I always will be.

If I am allowed to continue my membership.

Please.

Love and kisses to you and that Brazilian ********.

Can someone explain to me why this forum is open to rude and charmless people such as excess baggage? I just hope that excess baggage is easily identifiable as such so that I can avoid him if I ever have the misfortune to meet him in person...

Dan

p.s. Can someone else also explain to me why excess baggage's totally gratuitous outburst should make anyone 'chuckle'?

I am quite happy to be rude to people I know, and admit that sometimes rudeness is funny, but there is really no excuse for being offensive to complete strangers, no matter how silly we consider their postings - it shoud be possible to disagree without descending into calling people names - and supporting the team when attacked is no excuse for disregarding the rules. If the rules are not adhered to, and Blatchat is shut down, we will all be very much poorer and I for one will be very annoyed.

Self control is a sign of maturity.

Mind you when it comes to cars I'm one of the biggest kids around!

There's nothing wrong with coming last - especially as I was next to next to last cool.gif
