Laurence Wilson
ugly, yes... but certainly a handy bargaining chip in Westfields favour. Cheers! teeth.gifid=orange> Laurence 'LOZ' Wilsonid=purple>
murph7355
Laurence - don't buy or sell anything soon. Your idea of bargaining chips will not get you very far.
Laurence Wilson
I don't know, if I send it through an industrial shredder I'd get quite a few chips... But, are you saying I shouldn't buy a Caterham? (Check the 'Birthday' thread). tongue.gif Cheers! teeth.gifid=orange> Laurence 'LOZ' Wilsonid=purple> Edited by - Peardrop on 21 Jun 2002 18:16:
wag
As I recall from The Magnificent 7 (I cant check cos I lent my copy) Lotus did a hardtop for the series 4. That was not as pretty as it might have been.

Nick Woods
not pretty (very not pretty), but probably handy in the winter when its cold and wet. If Caterham made something similar I might be tempted especially if the door openings went back into the roof a little so it was easier to get in and out of than the soft top Nick P8MRA - The greenid=green> one with redid=red> wings
CHRIS CLARK
I imagine that if your Cater-field is your ONLY car (& there ain't many that are) then the winter use would be a lot better! I met a chap about a year ago in Brighton whose Westf1eld was his only car & had been for the previous nine years. It was a real used dog; in dreadful condition as it was NEVER used with a hood up (come rain, sleet etc) as he didn't have one. The only concession he made for winter was an old towel over the seat at night!!!! "Aye lad. When men were men, and women were glad of it and a pansy were just a flower"!!! murph7355
Not many as only cars. But mine's one of them smile.gif And the fabric hood is fine. Heater helps though. LOZ - you should definitely buy a Caterham.
