Sat 15th - CCC Action day @ Castle Combe

Just a reminder for anyone who isn't watching footie on Saturday, that there is a good Action day at Castle Combe this Saturday, with the opportunity to get on track for sessions of 5 laps each for around 20:00GBP.

 

It's always a good event, although some of the track action can be a little hairy, the circuit are trying to improve driver behaviour, so it may be best just to watch!

 

If there any 21 owners out there who are not on the 21's list, we are trying to organise a 21 get together, so far we have 5-6 cars coming, all being well, but more are always welcome. Look for us on the Lotus Seven Club - Somerset and Wessex area stand, I'll be there from shortly after 8:00am, the track opens at 9:00, but there is a compulsory briefing and noise test before anyone is let out.

Just got outa the bath having got home, following a REALLY GOOD DAY. The place was half empty [or only half full - whatever], no queues to get onto the circuit, 20:00 GBP for a 5 lap blast, and much better driving standards at last, as well as marshalls all around the circuit.

 

I guess that a lot of the "Lads" weren't there due to some football match on today and most of the Caterham "boys" were away playing hard at Le Mans, so all in all, an excellent day, and to cap it all it stayed dry all day, if a little breezy.

 

Oh yes, and we managed a representative turnout of 5 21's too.
