Paul Bowden
Just watching the Super Bikes at Snet. Pole postion was a 1.06 somthing. How does this compare with SLR and R500's. Mr Ince a Co what are your times?
robmar
I dunno the lap times but 175 mph down the back straight would be very fast! in my aeroscreen superlight I only saw 125 (indicated!) rob
Nifty
If I remember correctly Richard can do 1.14, maybe even top 1.13s. His Radical is 2 or 3 secs quicker!! I timed the Le Mans Bentley using the secondhand on my watch at 61 secs when they were testing up there a few months back, so a 1.06 isn't bad for a bike I guess(?) Nifty. darren f
Lap record is 58.97- done by Nigel Greensall in an ex F1 Tyrell. 2001 BTCC lap record was 1.15.8. 1.06 on a bike was pretty impressive, although the 2 good long straights allies with the acceleration ability does help :)
Peter Carmichael
The pit straight is also hampered by the tight chicane which a narrow bike gets a better run through than a car.
